Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Gemini Perspective and Playlist
The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is something we have been hearing about for a few months. The consensus is to not really try to manifest during this eclipse, but to let go of outdated ways of living and thinking to prepare for the new. There is no coincidence that this first eclipse is taking place during Sagittarius Season. The sign of Sag is one of my favorites because it is the Zodiac’s truth seeker, it can also be called the Indiana Jones of the 12 signs. Every Sagittarius that I know is a free and forward thinker. They love adventure, travel, spiritual pursuits, philosophy and are always on a quest for the meaning of life (and fun). During this Full Moon in Gemini we need to take a page out of Sagittarius’ book and question what is our personal truth, what do we believe in and how do we walk in that reality?
2020 has been encouraging me to ask myself this question over the last 7 months and everytime that I do, the space that I use to hold for fear and worry gets lower and lower on the list, while the space for hope, faith and belief in miracles has grown. Of course the pandemic is still here and in most of the country is getting much worse, but where I use to harp on my own scenarios of fear and get lost in despair, I am starting to instead not use my energy to bind myself in fear, but to expand my spirit with the thought of opportunity. The opportunity that we all have to do the right thing, to wear a mask and get our collective numbers down, the opportunity to volunteer, donate, or even to just send positivity to those who need a little extra help right now. This is always a difficult time of year for some and many of those feelings have been exaserbated with the pandemic. I have always felt that this time of year was the perfect placement for Sagittarius, because when I think of them, I always think of abundance. Not at all in the material sense, but in the abundance of spirit. Let’s all try and submerge ourselves into the “Abundance of Spirit”. Take what little bits you can carry and spread that goodness (while masked) to your neighborhood and everywhere you go. Like a beautiful garden those seeds of goodness will begin to blossom, almost like a miracle, all around us and we will all be better for it.
The playlist for this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse (Nov. 30 at 1:30 am PST) came to me while I was meditating today. Instead of the darkness and shadow that the eclipse will lend, I wanted to instead lean into the “Abundance of Spirit”. While I meditated, I envisioned my angels and spirit guides in heaven having an opulent, colorful disco dance party to encourage the letting go the old and dancing into the new with open hearts. Hope you enjoy and dance!
